I think that I love studying vintage Vogue editorials from the 80s, because they truly capture the essence of a woman.
During this time, there was a heavy focus on sex appeal. Vogue managed to continue focusing on this, while remaining tasteful.
These photographs are all simply styled, showcasing the true beauty of the models and the garments.
I enjoy the focus on the natural curves and stance of the models along with the simplistic styling.
This is something that I feel some have forgotten about when it comes to the fashion industry.
Breaking away from the heavy, gaudy, and sometimes overwhelming themes and styles to create beautiful editorials around natural beauty, lighting, and styling.
You can say that I’m inspired.
